Desiré Hendricks is a freelance writer and blogger. She holds a B.A. in Film Studies, specializing in African-American Studies, from Yale University. Her writing has appeared in The Kansas City Star and online at Associated Content.
Her credits include two self-published chapbooks of poetry and several how-to booklets on blogging and writing. She also maintains a writing resource and instruction blog, A Conservatory of One: Exploring the Writing Craft & Life, a poetry blog, Chocolate and Other Poems, and Everday Green, a blog dedicated to exploring how urbanites can live a greener lifestyle in their chosen cities.
